摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of detecting a jitter amount of a signal and optimizing the recording condition and the reproducing condition of the data based on the jitter amount. SOLUTION: An optical disk 14 is irradiated by a laser beam from a laser diode 12, and a read-out signal RS is obtained from a light detection part 15 based on reflected light from the disk 14. The signal RS is supplied to an equalizer part 16, and the regenerative data RD are obtained. A phase lock loop part 17 generates a clock signal RCK synchronized with the data RD. A jitter detection part 20 FM demodulates the signal RCK and generates a jitter detection signal JS based on an AC component of an obtained demodulation signal. A control signal PC is generated based on the signal JS and the signal LA showing the signal levels and the asymmetry state of the signal JS from the equalizer 16 to supply it to a laser drive part 11 and to control laser power at a recording time. The signal JS is supplied to the equalizer 16, and the part 16 controls the generation processing of the data RD from the signal RS at a reproducing time.
