PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation in image density and a sleeve ghost by forming a film formed by compounding graphite and/or carbon black with a melamine resin and/or urea resin on the surface of the sleeve. SOLUTION: The film contg. the graphite and/or carbon black in the melamine resin and/or the urea resin is formed on the surface of the sleeve 4. The reason why the melamine resin and/or the urea resin is selected for the film is to electrostatically charge toners 1 to a minus side as the melamine resin and the urea resin have the property to be liable to be electrostatically charged to a plus side in the triboelectrostatic charge. As a result, the prevention of selective development is made possible and even if printing-out is continued, the degradation in the image density is lessened. The graphite and/or carbon black which is a conductive pigment is projected to the surface of the coating, by which these projections are acted as the leak site for the electrostatically charged toners 1. The charge-up of the toners 1 is thus prevented and the sleeve ghost is prevented. |
