PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document preparation device which provides more pleasant document preparation environment by enabling a user to perform switching between a conversion which uses a wrong input automatic correcting function and a conversion which does not use it at the time of KANNA(Japanese syllabary)-KANJI(Chinese character) conversion. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a control part 2 which controls respective processes according to data inputted from an input part 1, a KANA- KANJI dictionary 6 which contains information needed for KANA-KANJI conversion processing, and a conversion part 5 which converts an input character string into KANA-KANJI mixed sentence by performing retrieval from the dictionary. Further, the device is equipped with a wrong input automatic correction part 4 which checks an input character string and automatically corrects an error if the error is found and a mode setting processing means which sets modes wherein the wrong input automatic correcting function is used or not used, and when the user inputs a function for performing conversion from the input part without using the wrong input automatic correcting function, conversion is performed without the wrong input automatic correcting process irrelevantly to the set mode of the wrong input automatic correcting function. |
