PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a ringer and a display element to the same operating state as the time of call termination after the lapse of a fixed period by operating a prescribed operation key when a portable telephone set is in a staradby state. SOLUTION: While this portable telephone set is in the standby state, when the operation key KA is pressed, a CPU 21 is operated, a timer TMR by a software is started, and after the lapse of the certain time, an LED 34 for call termination display and the ringer 37 are driven. Also, at the LED 32, the characters of outside line call termination for instance are displayed similarly to the time when a call is terminated from an outside line. In the state, when the operation key KB is pressed, display is performed similarly to an actual communication state, the LED 35 is continuously lighted and outside line communication for instance is displayed on an LED 32. In this case, when the operation key KA is pressed, the standby state is attained again and all the display is put out. |
