PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device with which the work to stick a polarizing plate can be carried out without mixing air bubbles into the spacing between the polarizing plate and a liquid crystal panel and which is simple in mechanism and does not impair mass productivity by holding the polarizing plate with the injection pressure of high pressure gas. SOLUTION: The polarizing plate 1 is made to match with a supporting body 7 in position. The polarizing plate 1 is then vacuum-sucked via a section hole 7a and the separator of the polarizing plate 1 is peeled over the entire surface to expose a tacky adhesive material. The front end 1f of the polarizing plate 1 is adhered and fixed to the liquid crystal panel 2. After air is blown in this state from a nozzle 8, a base plate 6 is moved in arrow A direction. As a result, the polarizing plate 1 is successively stuck to the surface of the liquid crystal panel 2 according to the movement of the base plate 6. The polarizing plate 1 slides successively along the rear surface of the supporting body 7. At this time, the polarizing plate 1 peels from the supporting body 7 and tends to come into contact with the surface of the liquid crystal panel 2 at the point of the time the terminal part 1e of the polarizing plate passes the section hole 7a, but the contact of the polarizing plate 1 with the liquid crystal plate 2 is averted by the gaseous pressure of the nozzle 8. |
