<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute tape stopping control with high accuracy at low cost without entailing a particular mechanical device for stopping tape running. SOLUTION: A rotational periodic direction of a take-up reel 2 is detected and supplied to a control part 12 by a take-up reel rotating speed direction detector 10, while a rotational periodic direction of a feed reel 3 is detected and supplied to the control part 12 by a feed reel rotating speed direction detector 11. A back tension data for correcting torque generated by a reel motor 4 is calculated by the control part 12 based on the detecting results of the detectors 10 and 11, and is supplied to an adder 13. In the control part 12, correction torque▵Nt is calculated by substituting rotational accelerationωt of the reel 2 for▵Nt =(π/2).d.ωt .rt .(rt -rs ), where rt and rs are wound diameters of the reels 2 and 3 respectively. The correction torque▵Nt is supplied via a switch 21 to the adder 13 by the control part 12. A data from the control part 12 and a data from a computing element 9 are added up and supplied to a take-up reel drive (MDA) 14 by the adder 13, and the motor 4 is driven by the MDA 14 based on the added data.</p> |
