PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control type spot light which shows high accuracy in positioning. SOLUTION: Positions A to D where infrared radiation from a remote control unit has access to the overlapping range of all detection areas is detected, and the mean value of the detected result of a pan axis regarding two positions B, D in the positions A to D, where the infrared radiation has access to detection areas PA1, PA2 for panning and the mean value of the detected result of a tilt axis regarding two positions A, C where the infrared radiation has access to detection areas TA1, TA2 are sought. A spot light main body is panned and tilted to the position obtained from the mean values regarding the pan axis and the tilt axis. |
