PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the suppression speed of an interference wave and lower the manufacture cost irrelevantly to the incidence direction of the interference wave and the frequency of two interference waves by controlling the delay quantity of a delay line so that the convergence speed of a load based upon the output electric power of a subtracting means as its necessary value is large. SOLUTION: A frequency measuring means 3 finds the frequencies f1 and f2 of two interference waves J1 and J2 included in the received signal x1 (k) of an auxiliary antenna 2 first. Then the frequency differenceΔf is calculated from the frequencies f1 and f2 found by the frequency measuring means 3 and a delay quantity calculating means 4 finds the delay quantity T<0> maximizing the convergence speeds of loads w1 and w2 . A delay quantity control means 5 controls the delay quantity of the delay line 6 so as to reach the delay quantity T<0> found by the delay quantity calculating means 4. Consequently, the side lobe canceler can be obtained which is fast in suppression speed irrelevantly to the frequencies f1 and f2 of the interference waves J1 and J2 and the incidence directions.
