A transverse or longitudinal screw (1) combined with inlet and outlet means (2) inside an elongate shaft (3) in the hull (4) of a surface or underwater craft. The screw comprises a male part (6) extending transversely to axis ZZ' and having a shape complementary to that of a female part inside the shaft (3) in which it is longitudinally slidable along said axis, and a cylindrical supporting control arm (9) extending along said axis and through a guide bearing (21) secured to said shaft (3). The clearance DELTA 1 between the respective complementary shapes of said parts is compatible with the clearance DELTA 2 between said transverse male part (6) and the edge (25) of the shaft (3) connecting same to the hull (4) when the screw (1) is in the extended position, thus enabling said male part (6) to bear thereagainst. |
