PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration generated at the time of rotating a unit and further, a noise by switching a driving current applied to a driving motor for rotationally driving a rotary unit for a developing unit, in accordance with a rotation mode. SOLUTION: Normally, a motor driving current of 2A is applied to a revolver rotating motor 77 for rotating a revolver developing machine unit, to generate driving force. But, this current value is switched so that it is reduced to 1.6A at the time of executing drive for the supply of toner, a recovery operation and the detection of a home position and returned to 2A at the time of executing other drive for development, etc. When a minimum current value required for rotating the revolver unit for the developing unit is checked in such a manner that the current value of the motor driving current applied to the motor 77 is reduced, a value of 0.8A is obtained. Thus, at the time of executing the supply of the toner, the recovery operation and the detection of the home position, the driving current applied to the motor 77 is reduced to make the generated vibration less than that when the driving current is high, so that the noise can be made smaller. |
