PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately decompose odor contained in air required for combustion upon combustion of gas and hence reduce odor in a room by providing a combustion chamber for mixing high temperature exhausted gas and air, and further providing a catalyst layer on a passage of warm air effused from the combustion chamber for decomposing and regenerating odor adsorbed by heating. SOLUTION: With an operation switch 7 depressed, a fan 3 is started to rotate, and gas is supplied to a burner 1 for starting of combustion. Warm air produced by mixing of high temperature exhaust gas produced with combustion of the gas and air taken in from an air intake inlet 4 is fed to the outside of an apparatus with a fan 3 for heating. The air taken in contains odor so that it is oxidized and decomposed with heating by a deodorizing catalyst 10 provided in a combustion chamber 2 to reduce odor. With only deodorizing operation a deodorizing operation switch 11 is pressed, and only the fan 3 is operated. At this time, odor contained in sucked room air is absorbed upon its passage through the deodorizing catalyst 10. |
