PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a printer device compact and inexpensive and to realize stable and high-image-quality printing in the wide range of using environment. SOLUTION: This developing device 2 is provided with a rotating magnet roll 3 having many magnetic poles, carrier much enough to cover the surface of the roll 3, a toner supply part 5 supplying toner which comes in contact with the carrier and forms two-component developer 4, and a developer layer thickness regulating member 8 regulating the layer thickness of the two- component developer 4 on the roll 3; and is equipped with at least one or more temperature and humidity detector 9 detecting ambient temperature and humidity. The carrier to cover the roll 3 and the opening width of the aperture part of the supply part 5 are variably controlled based on temperature and humidity information detected by the detector 9. |
