PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the service life of a battery by holding a natural mineral containing a rare earth element and a ceramic material by at least one of a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate. SOLUTION: Natural mineral powder 30 to 50wt.% containing a rare earth element 10.00 to 12.00wt.% and ceramic material powder 70 to 50wt.% are kneaded together, and it is baked, and is pulverized, and baked body powder is obtained. This baked body powder 1 to 20wt.% and electrode plate material powder 99 to 80-wt.% are kneaded together, and a positive electrode active material or a negative electrode active material are held by an electrode plate obtained by molding, and a positive electrode plate 4 and a negative electrode plate 5 are obtained. A positive electrode chamber 2a housing the positive electrode plate 4 and a negative electrode chamber 2b housing the negative electrode plate 5 are partitioned by a separator 3, and a battery cell part 6 is formed. Positive electrode electrolyte is housed in the positive electrode chamber 2a so that the positive electrode plate 4 is soaked, and negative electrode electrolyte is housed in the negative electrode chamber 2b so that the negative electrode plate 5 is soaked. |
