PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver previously with the image at an intersection so that a vehicle can be driven in safety. SOLUTION: The intersection scene display comprises a plurality of means 101-104 for picking up the image of an intersection from a plurality of directions, means 105 for synthesizing the image of intersection, viewed from the direction of each road constituting the intersection, from the images thus picked up, and means 106 for displaying the scene of intersection viewed from the entering direction of vehicle, selected from the synthesized images of intersection, when the vehicle approaches the intersection. Alternatively, the display means 106 may be combined with a car navigation system in order to display the advancing direction or recommended course of vehicle. |
