<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption by performing a display control according to the information content to be displayed. SOLUTION: This equipment has an LCD unit 18 having a plurality of display areas 1, 2 and independently display-driving each display area 1, 2; a LCD control part 14 for controlling the display drive to each display area 1, 2 of the LCD unit 18; a power supply control part 20 for supplying the power for display-driving each display area 1, 2 of the LCD unit 18 every display area; and a CPU 10 for controlling the LCD control part 14 and the power supply control part 20 so as to stop the display of a specified display area of the LCD unit 18, and the display of the specified display area is stopped, whereby the power consumption is reduced.</p> |
