PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized warning sound generation mechanism at a low cost without the need of new parts by providing a digital alarming signal generation means and a control means for performing output through a digital signal processing means. SOLUTION: When the capacity of a recording medium 14 becomes full, the control part 15 of a recording part 16 detects it and informs a main control part 11 of it. The main control part 11 stops a recording (or reproducing) operation and displays the fact that the recording medium 14 is full at a display part 18. Also, the main control part 11 sends a command to a digital signal processing part 5 and performs control so as to generate digital warning signals equivalent to warning sound. When it is required to generate the warning sound, the digital signal processing part 5 successively reads the wavefrom patterns of the warning sound and outputs them to a D/A converter 6 based on the command from the main control part 11 and they are converted into analog signals there, led through a low-pass filter 7 to a power amplifier 8, amplified there and outputted from a speaker 9 as the warning sound. |
