PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and securely prevent contents from being unmatching between POS terminals by equipping each POS terminal with a function which collects data that other POS terminals have by using a communication line and a function which distributes its own data to other POS terminals. SOLUTION: This POS system consists of plural POS terminals 1, 1A, and 1B, which are connected to the same network by the communication line 23, and the POS terminal 1A has the function which gathers the data that other POS terminals 1B have by using the communication line 23 and the function which distributes its own data to other POS terminals 1B. This constitution makes it possible to distribute altered data to all the POS terminals even if data of a master file, etc., is altered at some POS terminal, thereby easily and securely preventing the setting contents from being discrepant among the respective POS terminals. |
