PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance stability by building a light emitting diode together with the other lighting circuit parts in the base of a desk lamp. SOLUTION: This desk lamp is provided with a head part 1 including a light source, a strut 2 for supporting the head part 1 and a base 3 with lighting parts received in and for supporting the base part of the strut 2. A node displaying part 8 for displaying the operation mode of the desk lamp is provided in the base 3, and the mode displaying part 8 is a diffusible light transmission window formed by making the specific region of a flat-plate part in the upper surface of the base 3 translucent. Further, a light emitting diode of turning on and off the light in accordance with the operation mode of the desk lamp is provided inside the base 3, and the arrangement of the light emitting diode is fixed so that the center of projection light is headed for the diagonal front thereof through the diffusible light transmission window. |
