PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone system capable of performing call origination or communication just by operating an information output terminal equipment and substantially improving operability by detecting and decoding pseudo voice signals outputted from the information output terminal equipment and radio transmitting decoded transmission destination telephone number information. SOLUTION: When a communication software is activated by the keyboard 21 of a personal computer (MPC) 20 with a built-in modem, a transmission destination telephone number is automatically dialed from a CPU 23 and it is changed to the pseudo voice signal including a tone dial(TD) signal in the modem 24 and supplied through a buffer 25 to the earphone microphone jack 11 of this portable telephone system(PHS) 10. The PHS 10 which receives the pseudo voice signal detects the TD signal in a TD detector 12, decodes the transmission destination telephone number information from the TD signal in the CPU 13 and radio transmits it by a radio communication part 15 and an antenna 18. Thus, transmission is made possible just by an operation on the side of the MPC 20 and the portable telephone system 10 for which the operability is substantially improved is obtained. |
