<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain stable printing quality by preventing powder toner transferred in a printing process from being scattered by a buffer for absorbing the looseness of carried paper. SOLUTION: In this mechanism, the continuous paper 3 is carried by the rotation of a tractor 7 and a fixing roll 5 cooperatively in processes for forming, developing, transferring and fixing an electrostatic latent image; and the mechanism is provided with two buffers 10 and 11 attached to be rocked so as to absorb the sagging or the tightening of the paper 3 caused in the midst of carrying. Springs 9 and 12 pressing in a direction where tension is applied to the paper 3 are attached to the buffers 10 and 11. The buffers 10 with spring 9 are disposed in a paper carrying direction between the tractor 7 and the fixing roll 5.</p> |
