Manufacturing work-piece embedded in mounting

A process is for manufacturing a workpiece which is embedded in a mounting and is put together from several constituents with the use of a work-piece carrier. The carrier comprises an outer packaging which is made of fibre pulp and shaped as a shell structure for accommodating the constituent parts, and a shell structure carrier (14), which is accessible from above. The inside of the shell structure provides for a form-locking mounting of the work-piece or the constituent parts. The outside of the structure features a profiling for a form-locking embedding of the shell structure into a correspondingly shaped indentation (16) in the shell structure carrier (14).
