The product consisting of a chocolate bar and a wrapping is characterised by the following facts a) the wrapping is a single-leaf wrapping (2) and consists of at least 90 per cent of a paper blank (3);b) the blank is provided on both sides with a lacquer layer (4) resistant to fat penetration;c) the lacquer layer on the chocolate side of the wrapping is provided with a sputtered layer of metal which is compatible with the requirements governing food packaging;d) the outside of the blank is directly usable for labelling purposes.
