A gas combustion apparatus having the first and second burners and a combustion control means is disclosed. The combustion control means increases the current of a governor proportional valve according to the required combustion quantity excessive of the prescribed quantity, opens the electronic valve for controlling a temperature in case that the current is lowered to prescribed value, reduces the current according to required combustion quantity in case that the required combustion quantity is lower than the prescribed quantity, and closes the electronic valve in case that the current is increased to prescribed value. Thereby, it is possible to prevent abnormal combustion occurred in shifting of the electronic valve and to reduce costs.
