Electrohydraulic multi-circuit braking system e.g. for road vehicle

The braking system uses electrically-controlled brake pressure setting elements, individually controlled via respective output signals from an electronic control unit, used to provide the required braking with distribution of the braking force between the front and rear axles, automatic anti-locking braking regulation and travel dynamic regulation . The brake pressure source is provided by a high pressure pump (63) and a pressure store (61), coupled via pressure supply valves (37,36) to each braking circuit containing the wheel brakes for respective wheel pairs. Magnetic valves (56,57,58,59) are inserted in front of each wheel brake, with electrically- controlled proportional valves(41,42,43,44) and the brake fluid reservoir (39).
