Representing process parameters of technical system e.g. industrial plant

The method represents process parameters in a system in which the parameters are each assigned a radial, an azimuthal and an axial cylinder coordinate as location coordinates. The radial coordinates of the process data are nominated such that an approximately circular (8) polar diagram is provided when the system actual state matches a target state. The axial coordinates of each parameter are determined with a time value. With the cylinder coordinates of a predetermined number of process parameters, a three-dimensional geometric body (12) constructed in a predetermined time interval is projected in a plane.
