Nominal yarn tension control moving from unwinding to winding bobbins

A method to adjust the tension on a moving yarn, in a textile machine, comprises using a static grid tensioner (14) with fixed yarn guides (15) working with a moving guide (16) positioned by an electric drive (18). The adjustment to the positioning of the moving yarn guides (16) is through an electric drive (18) with an electrodynamic action through a proportional current/force characteristic curve. The current is varied according to the yarn draw force (Ff) at the grid tensioner (14) to bring it to a nominal draw force (Fsoll). The actual value (Fist) of the yarn draw force (Ff) is registered as a function of the reaction forces (Fr) at the electrodynamic drive of the adjustable guides at the grid tensioner (14) and their position (Pist). The actual and nominal values are compared and, on a deviation, a setting signal (Is) alters the current strength for the drive. Also claimed is an assembly with a yarn draw tension control (20).
