摘要 The current monitoring device has a sensor housing (2) which dips into the medium. The sensor housing (2) has a sensing part (1) with electronic components built into its end. It also has a fastening part (3) which can be screwed into a wall. An amplifier (15) in an amplifier housing (6) analyses the electric signal of the electric components built into the sensor part (1). The sensor part (1) and part of the fastening part (3) is screwed into a region of higher danger of explosion e.g. zone 1. The amplifier housing (6) is screwed into a region where the danger of explosion is lower, e.g. zone 2. The sensing part (1), fastening part (3) and amplifier housing (6) are formed as a unit and form a compact device. Inside the amplifier housing (6), the temperature sensitive components which determine the particular safety, are arranged on a first carrier and the further signal processing components are arranged on a second carrier. The components on the first carrier determine the characteristic safety of the current loop for the sensing part. The temperature sensitive components of the amplifier part are separated by a heat barrier of those components which generate heat or can generate heat in the case of a fault. The compact device can be connected to electric tracking devices which are not subjected to special safety conditions.
