Magnetic-inductive flow meter esp. for pastes, muds

The flow meter has a measurement tube (3), an electromagnet device with at least one electrically conducting loop arrangement (7,7') for generating a magnetic field passing transversely through the tube and at least two measurement electrodes (9,9'). The electrodes are arranged opposite each other transversely w.r.t. the tube to tap a measurement voltage induced by the flow of a liquid through the tube. The electrically conducting loop arrangement consists of an electrically conducting plate part mounted on the inside or outside of the measurement tube body (5). The plate part has at least one aperture (13) forming an inner limit of a conducting loop conducting path in the plate material.
