Work table isolated against vibration - has linear ball bearing for horizontal vibration and pneumatic piston for vertical movements

The vibration insulated work table rests on a sub-table isolating horizontal vibrations and in turn resting on a base isolating vertical vibrations. The horizontal vibrations are isolated by three balls arranged between the tables and accommodated in shallow concave portions in the confronting surfaces of the tables. The vertical vibrations are isolated by a piston projecting through an opening in an air-pressurized vessel constituting the base. The piston is connected to the edges of the opening by a rolling membrane. The pressure in the box can be regulated to adjust the height of the work table.
