The wheelbarrow is formed from a shell (1), two shafts (2) and an assembly of feet and wheel supports (3). The wheel (4) is pivoted on the feet and wheel support and their pivoting is limited by a deformable compression spring (5). The wheel pivot mounting is made by a rigid pivoting support (6) partially surrounding the wheel. The wheel axle (7) is carried by this support which is pivoted by a hub (8) in the wheel assembly end support in front of the wheel axle. The rigid pivoting support is in the shape of a stirrup whose webs form at their end the wheel axle support. Their opposite closed end is provided with a support (9) engaging an end of the compression spring which is fixed on the end stop (10).
