The refuse-conveying (A) device (2) described has a feed chute (4) connected to one end of a pipe (8). Running along the longitudinal axis of the pipe (8) is a screw conveyor (14) driven by a motor (20). The pipe (8) opens out into a pyrolysis reactor (10), in particular a carbonization drum operated as part of a low-temperature carbonization process which is rotable around its longitudinal axe (11). In the space (30) between the wall (80a) of the pipe (8) and pyrolysis reactor (10) there is placed at least on supply line (32) which leads into the reactor (10) from outside. Pyrolysis reactor (10) is at the income side fixed with an entry pipe (13). The pipe (8) is at the end closed and supply line (32) is lead through the space (30) between the entry pipe (13) and the pipe (8).
