Method for conveying in foundries

The method concerns the conveying and filling of large mould boxes (1, 2, 3, ...) in a moulding line for production of box halves filled with compacted sand. A mould box with a filling frame and a pattern, or a pattern plate carrier is conveyed to a filling station (10) via several linear shifts. At least two linear shifts are directed essentially at right angles to one another. Also claimed are a corresponding installation and a mould box.
