Process and device for treatment of waste gases

The purification process of a waste gas using a charge comprises: (a) Forming a charge (2) of incompressible beads, stable at process temperature of the rejected gases, which float when subjected in a peripheral washing liquid. It is used to purify the rejected gases and is cleaned between each working period; (b) two vessels (1,1') each containing the charge (2), can be filled and drained off in order to immerse the charge in a cleaning bath and to separate it respectively. They contain trays or meshes (6) for keeping the charge in an immersed state when the vessel is filled as well as inlet (32,32') and outlet (33.33') orifices for the gas to be purified; (c) device (19-21, 37-40) for stirring the cleaning bath in the vessel. The beads are porous and are coated with the reactant film (8) when in suspension in the predetermined reactant, to remove the pollutants contained in the rejected gas.
