<p>In order to ensure, in the production of a photograph album, that the pages come to rest in a flat state when opened and do not tend to close again as a result of bulging, and that the book has approximately the same thickness over the entire width when photographs are mounted on its pages, a straight web of album board is supplied, a first perforation (4) is made at 1 to 2 cm from a longitudinal edge of the web of board, a second perforation (5) is made at a distance of 1 to 2 cm from the first perforation (4), a means of folding is made and pages are cut from the album board, glassine is glued to the pages of album board by a narrow strip of adhesive in the region of the second perforation (5), the album board is folded along the two perforations to form zigzag elements (14), and a predetermined number of pages is combined to form a book, to which endpapers (18) are added. <IMAGE></p> |
