PURPOSE:To provide the ultrasonic image forming system for displaying simultaneously a tomographic image of inside of an examinee body and a displacement amount of a tissue, or the tomographic image of inside of an examinee body, a blood flow velocity distribution image and the displacement amount of the tissue. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with a tomographic image indicator 32 for imaging a tomographic image of inside of an examinee body, based on a reflected echo signal, a blood flow indicator 42 for imaging a blood flow velocity distribution image, and a tissue displacement indicator 44 for imaging displacement of a tissue. Also, this device is provided with a display image switch 48 for selecting an output of the blood flow indicator 42 or an output of the tissue displacement indicator 44, and a changeover switch 34. Based on the reflected echo signal, the tomographic image of inside of the examinee body is imaged by the tomographic image indicator 32. Based on the reflected echo signal, the blood flow velocity distribution image is imaged by the blood flow indicator 42, and the displacement of the tissue is imaged by the tissue displacement indicator 44. The output of the blood flow indicator 42 or the output of the tissue displacement indicator 44 is selected by the display image switch 48 and the changeover switch 34, and the selected image is displayed together with the tomographic image of inside of the examinee body. |
