The pram or buggy is supported on a frame which carries four wheel support blocks. The wheels can be mounted, according to size, in one of two positions (9,10). The wheel blocks consist of two parts (21,22) which are hinged together, while the hinge movement is restrained by a spring (25) to dampen up and down movement of the wheels. The wheel blocks are mounted in the frame (6), of the pram or buggy, with a tube (12) on the end of which a sleeve (8) with flange is mounted. The sleeve is inserted in the top part (22) of the wheel block. The block can be secured against pivoting about the tube (12) by an E-shaped side (24) which can be pushed into engagement with the sleeve.
