PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent structural parts made of resin or the like from being irradiated with ultraviolet rays from an ultraviolet lamp without reducing the irradiation quantity of ultraviolet rays to a photocatalytic unit and to prevent the leakage of ultraviolet rays to the outside of the body. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a body frame 3 in which a blower 5 is installed, a photocatalytic unit 11 equipped with a photocatalyst, an ultraviolet lamp 7 for exciting the photocatalyst, light shielding parts 12 in which ventilation openings 14, 17 are formed so as to shield ultraviolet rays from the ultraviolet lamp 7, and a deodorizing unit frame 13 made of sheet metal installed oppositely to the inner surface of the body frame 3. By housing the photocatalytic unit 11 and the ultraviolet lamp 7 in the deodorizing unit frame 13, the leakage of ultraviolet rays is prevented by the light shielding parts 12 and the deodorizing unit frame 13. |
