<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a solid polymer electrolytic element hardly generating ozone and hydrogen being a harmful side reaction product. SOLUTION: The element is composed of an anode 1 generating oxygen by electrolyzing water, a cathode 2 consuming the oxygen by generating the water and a solid polymer electrolytical film 3 being held by the anode 1 and the cathode 2, and this anode 1 and the cathode 2 are composed of porous structures 12 and 22, and ozone being the side reaction product of the anode 1 is decomposed and removed with the first catalyst 121 being one part of the first porous structure 12 and hydrogen being the side reaction product of the cathode 2 is decomposed and removed with the third catalyst 221 being one part of the second porous structure 22.</p> |
