PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suck and clean the smoke of cigarettes to prevent non-smokers existing in the surroundings from inhaling the smoke by preventing the diffusion of the smoke of the cigarettes to the surroundings. SOLUTION: This smoke sucking and cleaning mechanism A is constituted by building a fan 2 and a filter in a casing 1 and is constituted to clean the sucked smoke and to blow out the clean air. The outer periphery of the casing 1 is provided with an air blow-off port 7 for blowing off the cleaned air so as to form an air curtain. The fan 2 is formed of a Sirocco fan 2a so as to such the air from approximately the entire surface of the front surface of the casing 1.
