PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing device easily automated without needing complicated setting operation even to workpieces different in shape. SOLUTION: This sizing device that can cope with many kinds of workpieces is provided with a measuring head 13 for outputting measurement signals indicating the dimensions of a workpiece, and a processing means 1 for outputting a sizing signal when the measurement signal reaches the target dimensions. The processing means 1 is provided with a measured value temporary holding means 2 for temporarily holding the value of the measurement signal so as to be able to measure an outer diameter in the case of periodically outputting measurement signals even if the workpiece has the discontinuous face. This sizing device is also provided with a workpiece information storage means 3 stored with workpiece information on many kinds of workpieces, including information on at least the outer diameters of the workpieces and on whether the machined parts are the continuous faces or discontinuous faces, and a workpiece selecting means 4 for reading workpiece information according to a workpiece selection signal. The measurement signal is processed according to the selected workpiece information. |
