PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-pipe monitor robot which is able to travel in a sheath pipe without being hindered by a columnar spacer supporting a conductor in a compressed gas insulated cable. SOLUTION: The in-pipe monitor robot 1 which has an in-pipe monitor camera 15 and an in-pipe foreign matter expelling nozzle 20 and executes photographing and monitoring and removing of foreign matter by traveling in the sheath pipe B by means of a push-pull rod for in-pipe movement is mounted at a circular frame 2 notched and opened in the lower part movably along the frame surface. When the in-pipe monitor robot 1 passes the columnar spacer D erected on the inside bottom part of the sheath pipe by traveling in the sheath pipe, the columnar spacer D is passed within the open part 3 in the lower part of the circular frame 2 opened in the lower part, by which the traveling is made possible without being hindered by the columnar spacer.
