PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a board by employing no accelerator and preventing retardation of setting under low temperature environment from developing by a method wherein a gypsum layer during hardening is kept warm by arranging a lagging material so as to cover the gypsum layer on a belt conveyor. SOLUTION: By arranging a lagging material 20 so as to cover a gypsum layer 10 on a belt conveyor 4, the heat generating due to kneading and hardening is prevented from dessipating so as to keep the gypsum layer during hardening warm in order to prevent the layer from being cooled by the outside air and accelerate the setting of the layer. Further, the lagging material 20 is normally provided so as to be placed on a guide in order to cover the upper open part of a recessed part consisting of the belts 4A, 4B and 4C of a belt conveyor 4. Furthermore, as the lagging material, there is no limit to the one having a flat plate in cross section and the more favorable heat insulation effect can be obtained by covering also the outside upper parts of the belts 4B and 4C consisting of both the side parts of the belt conveyor 4 with the lagging material having a U-shape cross section. |
