PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition excellent in forming and cleaning power, low in skin stimulation, having a suitable viscosity, also excellent in stability in preservation for a long period, and useful cleaning of a human skin and hair by blending both specific anionic surfactant and amphtoric surfactant. SOLUTION: This detergent composition is obtained by blending (A) a long chain acylisethionic acid salt-type anionic surfactant of formula I (R1 COOCH<2> CH<2> SO3 M<1> ) [R<1> is an (un) saturated hydrocarbon group having a 7-19 mean carbon number; M<1> is an alkali (alkaline earth) material, ammonium, an organic amine ] with (B) an alkylamino acid-type ampoteric surfactant of the formula II R2 is an (un) saturated hydrocarbon group having an 8-20 mean carbon number; R3 is H, a (hydroxyl) alkyl having a 1-4 mean carbon number or a group of the formula: (CH2 )m COOM3 [R<1> is M<1> , (m) is 1-4]; M2 is M1; (1) is (m)}. |
