摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve gradation reproducing property, picture recording density characteristics and projection property of recording image by a method wherein a cushion layer and a dye receiving layer, specified respectively, are formed sequentially on the rear surface of a transparent plastic sheet supporting body, on one side of which heat resisting treatment is applied. SOLUTION: A material 5 for heat transfer type recording, having the haze degree of 10% or less, is formed of a dye receiving layer 4, formed on one side of a transparent plastic sheet supporting body 1, and a heat resisting treatment layer 2, formed on the other side. A cushion layer 3, consisting of polyester resin, having the glass transition temperature of 65-80 deg.C, is formed between the plastic sheet supporting body 1 and the dye receiving layer 4. Further, the flatness of the surface of the dye receiving layer 4 is higher than 10,000 second when it is measured by an OKEN type high smoothness tester while the thickness of a dried coating film is specified so as to be 0.5-5.0μm. On the other hand, this material is prominent in the property of projection, effected by an overhead projector. Accordingly, high-quality recording picture can be obtained.
