PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize printing just like a glossy photograph easily with the essential color of an inputted print data by arranging at least an ink ribbon for coating print in the longitudinal or lateral direction of ink ribbons. SOLUTION: At the time of printing with color print ink ribbons where a cycle of ink ribbons of S, M, Y, C is arranged repeatedly, printing (transfer of ink ribbon to print face: paper surface) is performed on the order of S, M, Y, C by means of a print head scanning from right to left or left to right while printing one color at a time during print process of one line. One line printed at the time of last scanning of one line is entirely printed with C thus forming a clear face. Unit length of each color is set to correspond to the print length of one line, e.g. 90mm for postcard printing ink ribbon and 197mm for A4 paper printing ink ribbon. |
