PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the sharpness of a printed part and to increase a printing speed by coating the surface of a metal plate with powder paint and heating and melting the powder paint of a part to be printed by a printer using laser as a heat source to bond the same to the metal plate. SOLUTION: Powder paint composed of a white polyester resin forming a contrast with the surface color of an unpainted steel material 1 is applied to the steel material 1 by using an electrostatic painting apparatus 3. Next, the steel material 1 having the powder paint applied thereto is linearly heated by the laser 4a of a laser printer 4 and only the powder paint 2 of a printing part 5 is melted to be bonded to the steel material 1. Finally, the unmelted and non-bonded powder paint 7 on the surface of the steel material 1 other than the printing part 5 is sucked to be recovered in a powder paint recovery device 6. Therefore, printing accuracy is high and sharp printing can be obtained by bonding the powder paint having a color forming a contrast with the surface color of a metal plate in a molten state. |
