Disclosed is a pigmented thermoplastic fibre, particularly pigmented polypropylene fibre, which is stabilised against the deterious effects of the actinic radiation, by synergic combination of the stabiliser against the light effects, which contains restrained amine residues and UV absorbants, such as o-hydroxyphenyl benzotriazoles or o-hydroxyphenyl-s-triazines. Disclosed is also stabilised pigment composition usable in the production of this fibre.
