PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant polyester resin composition which is free from any halogen, has high flame retardancy, excellent mechanical strengths, impact resistance, heat resistance, humidity resistance, flowability, heat stability and blackness and scarcely undergoes a viscosity change even when it stays at high temperatures. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant polyester resin composition comprises 15-97wt.% thermoplastic polyester resin, 2-35wt.% melamine/cyanuric acid adduct, 0.05-10wt.% compound having two or more functional groups, 1-30wt.% phosphorus flame retardant, 0.01-0.4wt.% carbon black having a mean particle diameter of 0.2μm or below and a dibutyl phthalate absorption of 400ml/100g or below and 0-50wt.% (the total is 100wt.%) glass fiber.
