PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which inhibits the corrosion (rusting) of the metallic parts of an extruder used when a pipe is produced from a linear low-density ethylene/α-olefin copolymer produced by the use of a Phillips catalyst. SOLUTION: This resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. linear low-density ethylene/α-olefin copolymer produced by the use of a Phillips catalyst, 0.01-0.1 pt.wt. tetrakis(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl)-4,4-biphenylene diphosphonite and 0.0005-0.05 pt.wt. chloride absorber (e.g. a metallic soap such as zinc stearate or calcium stearate).
