PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a scratch resistant and electric conductive embossed carrier tape capable of reducing the number of inferiority in mounting, since it can protect electronic parts from a static electricity when housing the electronic parts and a carbon black therein is not removed from the resin on rubbing with the electronic parts, and excellent in electric conductivity, forming property and scratch resistance. SOLUTION: This scratch resistant and electric conductive embossed carrier tape having >=1×10<4>Ω/square and <10<10>Ω/square surface characteristic resistance, and having an excellent scratch resistance not observing any peeling off of a carbon black in scratching tests from a cloth or a paper and excellent is forming property, is obtained by using a polypropylene resin or a blended resin of a polypropylene with a polyethylene which have a relatively high mutual solubility with the carbon black as a base material, and kneading a filler good in mutual solubility to both the carbon black and the base resin, together with the carbon black.
